the Beatles, released on 26 September 1969 by Apple Records.
Named after the location of EMI Studios in London, the album's cover
features the four band members walking across the street's zebra
crossing, an image that has become one of the most famous and
imitated in popular culture. The album was the last one that the
Beatles started recording, although Let It Be was the last album
released before the band's dissolution in April 1970.
Abbey Road was a commercial and critical success, reaching the top
